Community BarnRaising

Community BarnRaising is a vibrant and innovative program that uses the old-fashioned idea of a “barn-raising” whereby the community comes together at the same time, in the same place, to achieve a specific goal.

HandsOn Battle Creek is now seeking and accepting volunteer for its quarterly Community BarnRaising projects.  To sign up for a Community BarnRaising project, you must create a profile on our database.  We coordinate four projects a year with each project taking place at a different location and benefiting a different nonprofit group each time.

All agencies, organization, and neighborhood groups are invited to submit project ideas for a future Community BarnRaising project.  Click HERE for the application.
