HandsOn Battle Creek works with the desire to be a part of something bigger, the drive for change, the aspiration to make a difference, and turns it into action through volunteering.
Have you received a utility shut-off or an eviction notice? Do you need clothing or household items? Do you need child care or emergency shelter? Do you need help paying for your prescriptions or accessing medical care? Do you want to volunteer in the community or do you have items you would like to donate to a local organization? Whatever your situation or need, 211 is an easy to remember three digit telephone number that allows you to find help when you need it. With just one simple call to 211 you will have access to thousands of programs to GIVE HELP or GET HELP!
HandsOn Battle Creek is currently making a list of people that may want to get involved in the clean-up efforts for the Kalamazoo River. As soon as opportunities are created, volunteers will be contacted by the Office of Emergency Management. To become a part of this effort, you must create a user profile on our website, or if you already have one login by clicking here.
